FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

How many guests will fit under the pavilion?

The pavilion is 2,400 square feet. You should be able to fit up to 400 seated guests. If you add tables, up to 200 should be comfortable. Please note: We offer event tents for food tables or extra seating.

What's included in the rental fee?

That depends on how much DIY you want to do! We keep our prices low by providing a bare bones outdoor venue that you can either glam up or country down. The bare minimum fee includes the pavilion, gazebo, plus a dressing bunkhouse for the bridal party and a cowboy bunkhouse for the groomsmen. Check out our prices for the venue and extras.

Will we have time for rehearsal?

We’ll provide one hour for rehearsal the day prior to your event. You can also book enough time for a rehearsal hoedown and cookout at half price the day before your wedding.

Do you have an indoor venue?

The Lone Star Pavilion currently only offers an outdoor venue which includes a gazebo, pavilion, and grassy grounds.

Do you have restrooms?

Yes. We have two plumbed restrooms for the public, and a private plumbed restroom with HVAC and a hot shower for VIPs and wedding parties.

How far in advance should we book our event?

That’s mostly up to you, but you should reserve your date as soon as you know it so you don’t lose the venue. A good rule of thumb for planning a wedding is to reserve your space 1 to 1.5 years in advance.

Do you offer chairs and tables?

We can provide chairs and tables for an additional fee, or you can use your vendor of choice.

Can we include horses or pets in our ceremonies?

""

Yes! We’re a horse-friendly wedding venue. That’s one of the most unique features of the Lone Star Pavilion! We have barn stalls, an arena and round pen where your horse will be comfortable as you await your nuptials.

Do you offer overnight accommodations?

We offer a luxury suite with a queen bed to kick off your honeymoon, and a cowboy bunkhouse with a twin trundle for extra guests. The luxury suite is $100, and the cowboy bunkhouse is $50.

Who's responsible for setting up, tearing down, and cleaning up after events?

You can either pay for us to set up and tear down for your event, or you can take care of everything yourself.

What guidelines do you have for throwing stuff in celebration?

Here are some environmentally-friendly (and wedding dress friendly) alternatives to rice, bird seed, and other projectiles: biodegradable rice paper confetti, biodegradable flowers, seed paper confetti, bubble wands. Please avoid bird seed, rice, or sand in your throwables or decorations.

Do you have any restrictions for décor?

Please avoid glitter, paper confetti, dark rose petals, bird seed, silly string, tinsel, streamers, or anything that won’t contribute to the earth or pond if left behind. We ask that you not screw, staple, or nail anything to the pavilion wood. You’re welcome to use gentle tape (no duct tape), and biodegradable decorations.

Do you have an alcohol policy?

We do not offer alcohol; but we permit libations as long as you sign a statement guaranteeing you carry Special Event Host Liquor Liability Insurance. You may be asked to provide documentary proof of such coverage.

Do you have any cooking amenities?

Lone Star Pavilion has an industrial-sized smoker and multiple gas and hibachi grills. We can also provide event tents where you can offer catered food.
